TOMORROW’S TRADE IDEA, TODAY

A Hurricane Is Forming. Could This Stock Benefit?

Confident Leadership

Generac Holdings (GNRC) sales are set to surge in the near future — at least that’s what CEO Aaron Jagdfeld thinks.

According to Jagdfeld, the backup generator manufacturer could see its sales increase exponentially, given two emerging trends: the rise of AI and an influx of extreme weather events.

High-Wind Tailwinds

Jagdfeld believes Americans are already increasingly taking their power consumption into their own hands, utilizing generators to back up their homes and businesses. This may only accelerate as AI-powered data centers put more strain on the US power grid.

On top of an over-extended power grid, extreme weather events like hurricanes, heat waves, and wildfires are taking a toll on power infrastructure. Jagdfeld says Americans are losing confidence in the power supply, while his company stands ready to provide the products they need.

Strong Fundamentals

The projected increasing popularity of its products isn’t the only thing Generac has going for it. It also has some pretty strong fundamentals to boot.

13 analysts covering the stock recently increased their earnings estimates, and the company has historically beaten earnings by nearly 10% per share on average. It currently sits at a Price/Cash Flow ratio of 17.4x and a Price/Sales ratio of 2.1x.

If the analysts and company insiders are to be believed, Generac could be primed to generate some major growth.
